About Us
Basic Foundation Group of Schools, Emene, started with eleven pupils, three teaching staff, and one head teacher, offering Day Care, Nursery, and Primary education, in the year 2004. BFGS upgraded to Secondary School on 3rd October 2008, opening with an intake of two students and six teachers.
Since 2004, over 4,800 students have passed through the school, supported by qualified teachers handling various primary and secondary subjects, and 58 tutorial and non-tutorial staff on its payroll.
Basic Foundation Schools will be a role model committed to excellence and continuous improvement in meeting students' reasoning capability — raising a wise individual who lives a good moral life, is self-independent, and contributes positively to the betterment of society.
Basic Foundation Schools is driven by shared commitments to the learning process, guided by clearly defined organizational principles, a fixed curriculum, sound pedagogy, and full alignment with the requirements of the Ministry of Education.
